Henk van Bergen and his wife, Wilma, operate the training business Brakkenstein Dressage Stables, which serves as host site to the Dutch National Championships in Nijmegen, Holland. Appointed Dutch National Trainer in 1988, Mr. van Bergen led the Dutch team to silver at the Barcelona Olympics.

Henk has been a frequent speaker at the Global Dressage forum and is currently the

trainer for the British Juniors and Young Riders. In 2009, Henk will be the presenter at the USDF National Trainer's Symposium. He is an articulate and engaging speaker who teaches the audience as much as he teaches the riders. We are fortunate to have Jennifer Baumert of Cloverlea Dressage, who has been riding in Henk van Bergen's clinics since the late 1980's, host him for two days at Cross Creek Farm where she is now based as resident trainer.
