Courtney & Mythilus

Known for her sympathetic, correct, and elegant riding, the long time student of Lendon Gray rounded out her education in the last years working with team coach Klaus Balkenhol, Hubertus Schmidt, Steffen Peters, and observing Isabell Werth at the Olympic Games. Courtney has definitively arrived at her own style which she calls "My way of riding;"

"Riding the horse's body… not riding the horses for the movements, but riding the movements for the horses. Playfully putting them in position to truly carry themselves, backs totally soft and swinging, and showing a true connection in their contact with the bit".

We are fortunate to have Jennifer Baumert host Courtney for two days at Cross Creek Farm, where Jen is now based.
